About Jessica

I’m passionate about this city and want you to love it, too!

Born and raised in Berlin as a daughter of an Australian and a German I know this city inside and out. Having traveled and lived internationally, I am respectful of different cultures, backgrounds, and special needs. I founded von Wrede Relocation desiring to use my deep knowledge of Berlin and my professional skills to help you move to Berlin without hassle and re-create your home here.

With an innate talent for organization, I continue to build strong relationships with partners and their expertise. I maintain strategic partnerships with multiple stakeholders who will be able to guide and support my clients.

von Wrede Relocation

We are an internationally recognized relocation and lifestyle services provider based in Berlin. We are experts in helping you relocate your life to a new city. Passionate about making your relocation process an efficient, effective, and enjoyable one, we offer a hand-crafted experience that matches the uniqueness of your needs.

With a strong network of partners and their shared know-how and resourcefulness we guarantee unparalleled capability and capacity. At the same time we pride ourselves on operating independently of any supplier affiliation such as real-estate firms, vendors, or other service providers. We select and partner only with those service providers who share our demand for excellence and commitment to our clients.

For anyone relocating to Berlin, we are your true experts on the ground in the greater Berlin area offering relocation and lifestyle services. We understand the ‘art of moving’ during a very stressful time. This is what we live, work, and breathe every day and we are proud to be your local connection.

My family moved homes a lot, so I know what it means to have to resettle, adjust, reorientate, and find new friends. After completing my MA in Sydney, Australia, I returned to Berlin to work in the international cultural and diplomatic sector.

During my work for the US and Canadian Embassies I learned what is required to help diplomats and their families settle in fast, so that they hit the ground running.

During my time at the American Academy in Berlin, a residency institution for US scholars, I was responsible for managing the arrival and departure of academics and artists and their families. This included guiding them through the visa and registration process, consulting spouses on career transition options, and finding the right daycare or school for kids as well as providing personalized orientation in Berlin.
